This is Eliot. He made me smile – a lot! Eliot had more energy than me and his mum put together. We started our photo shoot in my studio here at the Atkins Building in Hinckley. After 30 minutes of running around asking me lots of questions and jumping up and down like he was on a pogo stick, I made a very sensible decision to take Eliot outside and put my 70-200mm zoom lens on my camera and let him go ‘bananas’. And you know what? It worked. We got the best shots of Eliot just by letting him run wild and be himself. And this is why I prefer location photography with little children. They can be themselves, run around just like they are supposed to and I can stand back from a distance and shoot! But, location photography isn’t just for children, it’s also perfect if you would like to be photographed as a whole family, or perhaps with your friends, or your fiancé / loved one? We can go for a walk and capture some natural moments. It’s great… If you would like to see further images from photo shoots on location please click the ‘portfolio’ link at the top of this page.
