Leicestershire Wedding Photography | Lucy & Mark’s Potters Marston Wedding
It’s not often that I share weddings on the blog, simply because I’m so busy shooting them and don’t get time to write about them. Lucy & Mark’s wedding was so beautiful and unique that I just had to share!
Potters Marston is a tiny village in Leicestershire, with an even tinier chapel at just 38 feet long and I now hold the unique honour of being the wedding photographer of the first ever wedding at one of the smallest churches in the county! The chapel actually dates back to the 15th century but it seems that Lucy & Mark are the first couple to actually get married there.
The chapel is in the grounds of Lucy’s parents’ home and the reception was held in a gorgeous marquee provided by Covertec Structures. Flowers By Stephanie did an amazing job (as I’m sure you’ll see from the photos) of decorating everywhere with flowers and creating the beautiful bouquets for Lucy and her bridesmaids, her floral decor was just perfect for a wedding in such a rural location.
As you can see the weather was just perfect, the wedding was beautiful and the day was relaxed and full of fun and love. These are my absolute favourite sorts of weddings, perfectly suited to my style of wedding photography which is informal and relaxed, capturing the story of the day as it unfolds. I also love to create beautiful portraits of the bride and groom on their big day and what could be better than having a field of golden wheat and perfect light, ideal for Lucy and Mark to take a little quiet time together after the wedding breakfast.
I hope you enjoy the photos and if you are planning your own Leicestershire wedding and would like to have a chat about wedding photography why not give me a call on 01455 233224.
