Wedding Photography Leicester

The lovely Rachael and Luke were married on 22nd March and I thoroughly enjoyed being a part of this fantastic wedding day.  Laughter, noise and very bad weather but totally joyous and fun every second of the day.

The Venues:  St Peter & St Paul RC Church, Earl Shilton and Heart of England Events Centre

Flowers:  Tulips Florist, Hinckley

Stand out Moments

A snow storm

This was the first day of a snow storm in Leicestershire which started as a flurry early afternoon and didn’t stop all day.   And yet Rachael and Mark were all smiles throughout their wedding day.  Rachael especially was not going to let poor weather ruin her big day.  She’s probably the most smiley bride I have ever photographed.  I don’t think anyone will ever forget your special day.

Disorganised Men

Yes, talking about you ‘father of the bride’.  Last one to be ready on the morning of the wedding… tut, tut, tut!  And you needed more help than the bride and bridesmaids put together.

Attentive Bridesmaids

Such lovely bridesmaids.  Fantastic to work with and up for a good time.  But most of all, supportive and helpful to the bride.  Top marks girls.

Misbehaving Grandparents

I don’t think I have ever photographed a wedding whereby the grandparents were so lively and actually a little bit mischievious..!  Still dancing the night away as I left at around 9pm!

Don’t Drop The Bride!

Great idea guys, to pick up the bride and lift her into the air (after a few beers).  However, You nearly gave me a heart attack.

BEE Happy Mr and Mrs Robinson… xxx

Studio and Location Portraits Leicester

A few of my favourite images both in the studio and on location.  If you would like to book either a studio session for your photography, or would prefer to be photographed at home or at your favourite park or special place, please call me – Lesley Bee on 01455 233224 to discuss your requirements.

I am running some ‘mini sessions’ at Bosworth Park on Saturday 4th May, hopefully to take advantage of the bluebells being in full colour (fingers crossed).  These sessions are £50 and include a complimentary 10×8 print.  Further information can be given if you wish to get in touch.

Party Photography Leicester

An amazing, glamourous affair recently at the City Rooms in Leicester for Ushma’s 40th birthday.  The theme was ‘pink’ and the celebration was a sit down meal with Ushma’s closest family and friends.  Ushma had called me many months ago to talk to me about her supposedly ‘surprise’ birthday party being planned by her husband Irfan.  However, us ladies are very clever and Ushma had found out about the secret planning.  Irfan gave Ushma permission to arrange her own photographer for the day and that’s what she did…

Fast forward a few months and it was such a pleasure to be at this celebration.  I was made very welcome and enjoyed every moment of capturing this fabulous birthday party  in photographs.

Studio Portraits Leicester

I’ve been really busy with studio portraits just recently and have had so many lovely clients come to me for photography.   I have had a lot of extended families to photograph and one particular family of 14 came for a photo shoot recently during a visit to Leicester.  This family all live in London and were visiting friends and family to celebrate grandma’s 80th Birthday (I had to call her ‘Ba’ – which I am presuming is Indian for grandma or nanny, unless they were having a joke on me…).

We really did have lots of fun during this session.  It was noisy, chaotic and a bit bonkers at times, but the family were so full of joy and I just love the colours in these photographs.  They had a mixture of images taken both in traditional and casual dress.   I must admit, I had to have a lie down for a few minutes when they left, but it will be a family I will remember for a very long time.  Joyful…
