A Thank You from a Groom that Has Just Made my Day

Wow!  I get lots of thank you cards from wedding clients, usually written by the Bride.  Today I received a beautiful Thank You card and Gavin took the time to write some words too…  Thank you Mr & Mrs Pugh! xxx

“To Lesley.  This is just a little thank you for everything that you have done.  Not only have you taken lots of amazing pictures but you were such an important member of our truly special day.  Not only on the day, but in the build up.  We can’t wait to see all your pictures and remember the happiest day of our lives.  Thank you for making our family and friends feel so at ease.  We have had many laughs with you along the way, but I truly mean it from the bottom of my hear when I say thank you.  You have done so much more than you needed to do and you are so much more than a photographer.  Please stay in touch.  You have become a friend to us.  All my love Gav.”

Annie & Gavin – Mr & Mrs Pugh

Annie and Gavin were married at the City Rooms in Leicester last Saturday…  I call Annie a ‘Princess’ bride.  She’s an adorable Princess and so, so cute and only 21.  I was booked for their wedding about 16 months ago and have spent a lot of time with this couple, including engagement photography, and a family shoot with Annie’s family to celebrate her parents wedding anniversary.  And this couple are quite simply adorable and fun.  Sorry Mr & Mrs Pugh that I can’t put up more of your images.  You will have to wait until the new year to see your final images from your beautiful wedding day.  I can’t wait to catch up with you again.  Merry Christmas and a Happy 2012 as Mr & Mrs Pugh.

Sending you Christmas Wishes from me – Lesley Bee!

2011 has been a great year – fun, frantic and emotional.  I’ve met some amazing people along the way, all with a different story to tell when it comes to their photography requirements.  And it has been such an amazing pleasure photographing the most lovely wedding couples along with lots of family photo shoots, pet portraits, adorable babies and toddlers, and  Boudoir clients.  I have had the pleasure of meeting some very ‘in love’ couples and some recently engaged couples too.  And of course, one of my favourites…  lots of fun groups of girls celebrating their birthdays by having a portrait party.   I am sure that my wedding clients will become friends to me and I hope to hear the ‘pitter patter’ of tiny feet in the not too distant future.  I am sending lots of ‘Bee Love’ to everyone I have met in 2011 and I hope that 2012 is a very happy year for all of you.  Watch out for some EXCLUSIVE OFFERS early in 2012.    I offer a truly personal service, every step of the way when it comes to your photography.  Call 01455 233224 and we can chat about your ideas and inspirations.

Kelly & James – Mr & Mrs O’Riordan

It was my absolute pleasure recently to do the ‘double whammy’ and photograph Kelly and Jame’s wedding day at… wait for the title…  ‘The Church of our Lady of Grace and St Teresa of Avila’!!!! Wow, now that’s a title and a half for a church.  And the ‘double whammy’ was a beautiful baptism straight after the wedding ceremony.  Kelly is from Essex and James is from Ireland so it was almost like being on the set of ‘Eastenders’ and ‘Father Ted’ all rolled into one.  James is also one of 14 children and so a very big Irish contingent were present to witness this amazing day. Kelly, on the other hand is from a very small family.  I think I can quite safely say that the Irish side of the family took up most of the invitations to this Wedding and Baptism.

Kelly’s daughter Danielle was the most amazing, attentive bridesmaid and the love between mum and daughter just shone through.  There were lots of tears during the bridal preparations!  Danielle is also big sister to beautiful twins Erin and Grace who were born earlier this year and she is just so much help to her mum when it comes to the twins.

So, first up, a beautiful Catholic wedding ceremony, followed by a few moments outside for confetti, then back into the church for the Baptism of Erin and Grace.    It was then on to West Essex Golf Course for the wedding breakfast and lots of partying.   All in all, a very emotional, beautiful day.  I do so love my job!

Girls are always so much fun

I don’t have to write much about this selection of images from a recent shoot… Little girls are always so excited about being photographed (boys tend to want to swing from my lights and bounce a lot…).  This set of cousins were just so much fun – I could hardly keep up..  If you would like to book a portrait photography session with Lesley Bee please call 01455 233224.   My philosophy is to ensure the children have a ‘blast’ and show their true personalities.  If they enjoy their photo shoot it will show in their photographs !  A very special Auntie had organised this portrait session for these little girls and supplied all the jewels and shoes and hats for them to enjoy.  We all had a ball…
