Testimonials – Via The Best of Hinckley

It is always so fantastic to receive a testimonial from past clients.  I am a member of ‘The Best of Hinckley’  and have had some great reviews on the site.  It really does put a smile on my face when I receive a rave review for my work.  I really do put 110% into my photography and relationship with those that I photograph.  It is so important to me that I get to know the client, especially wedding couples – after all it can only make my job easier if we can have fun during their wedding day.    I have met some amazing and inspirational people over the last few years and knowing that they have a collection of images that they will treasure forever really does give me a buzz.    Read on…

Bethan & Jon – Wedding Clients  We chose Artography to photograph our wedding because Lesley’s professionalism and passion instilled us with such confidence that she would do a superb job. We had quite a traditional wedding but we also liked her creative approach, which allowed for imaginative shots and layouts that offered something a little bit different from her competitors. Perhaps most importantly we instantly liked Lesley and knew that our guests would feel comfortable around her too. We were not disappointed and the end result was a relaxed day, stunning shots and an album that we will treasure forever. Thank you Lesley.

Mrs Boonham – Portrait Client   Lesley has photographed our family several times. Her work is always stunning! Lesley manages to capture your personality and the occasion brilliantly. She puts you at ease instantly and her photo shoots are always filled with fun and laughter! The hardest part is choosing which photo’s to have! We would definitely recommend Artography to anyone who is looking for a professional but relaxed service!

Cathrynne & Jamie – Wedding Clients  Everyone told us that wedding days could be stressful! Ours was the best days fun we’ve ever had, partly due to Lesley at Artography. From the moment Lesley arrived at the house of ‘the bride to be’ she made everyone smile. Lesley is such a lovely, relaxed person, just what we needed on our special day. We have just received our wedding album, which captured the story of our day perfectly. We recommend Lesley at Artography unreservedly and will definitely be using her skills in the future. Jamie & Cathrynne

Mrs Norton – Portrait Client  Lesley from Artography was fantastic when she photographed our daughter. She captured her personality perfectly and we were spolit for choice when it came to the finished product. Thankfully, Lesley was on hand with her creative eye to guide us on what would look good and in what format. I would thoroughly recommend Artography and Lesley without reservation.

Mrs Williams – Portrait Client  Lesley has photographed my family before and produced some amazing and very “ahead of her time” photos. 3 years on and Lesley is now offering a truly professional service with a high quality studio and an excellent array of contemporary wall art and framing ideas. You can trust Lesley to get the best shots, work with babies and kids in a fun way and also listen to what you want from the shoot. I have no hesitation in recommending Lesley and Artography to anyone as I know shes working at such a high level of quality and great customer service.

Trudy & Martyn – Wedding Clients.  We are so pleased that we have found Lesley at Artography to take our wedding photos next year. The shoot that she has already done with us was such fun and the photos are fabulous – and I hate having my photo taken! She is a lovely, friendly person and very helpful. We cant wait to see how the wedding photos turn out. Highly recommend.

Uzaima & Rahim – Album Design Clients.  Lesley Bee from Artography designed our wedding album for us and she was a pleasure to work with. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she kept in regular contact with us, sharing ideas and thoughts. We were really pleased with how the album turned out.

Engagement Shoots

In a number of my packages I include an Engagement photo shoot at your chosen wedding day venue.  This is a fantastic opportunity to get together and discuss your wedding planning in more detail, have a coffee and get to know each other a little better.  It’s great to go for a little walk around the venue and grounds and at the same time take some informal photographs.  This is also an opportunity for the couples to see how I like to photograph and how it really can be fun and not a scary experience at all.  It really is an ‘ice breaker’  and I won’t feel like a total stranger when turning up on the wedding day… great for the couples, and great for me!  Although my photography is definitely more ‘reportage’ style there will nearly always be the need to take photographs of the couple on their own and of course the formal group shots of family and close friends..   A few shots from post wedding shoots below taken at Coombe Abbey in Coventry, Shearsby Bath and Bosworth Hallengagments.  This engagement shoot, includes either 2 x 10×8 images or digital files.

Becky & Alexis at Hartington Hall Derbyshire

Becky and Alexis were very keen to have totally informal photography at their recent wedding at Hartington Hall in Derbyshire.  In fact it was their very first request when I first met them to discuss their photography requirements.   And their wedding day was very informal too.  It really was like being at a family party.  The majority of the guests stayed at Hartington Hall all weekend, with the immediate family travelling from Wales and London…   I did manage to sneak in a few portrait shots of them together but actually the best shots of the day were definitely the ‘reportage’ images.  The ceremony was conducted outside in the gardens of Hartington Hall.  It really was lovely to be outside, although perhaps a bit cold!!!  Thankfully the fires were lit inside and it certainly was intimate and cosy.

Becky and Alexis are both Archaeologists, but I promise you there were no jokes about fossils or bones during the speeches!!!  This was such a laid back, fun wedding which I enjoyed so much.

Thanks to the Becky and Alexis and their family and friends for making me feel so welcome.

Frank & Jill – A Secret Wedding…

I had great pleasure photographing the wedding  of Frank and Jill at Leicester Town Hall on Monday 15th February.   A  totally adorable couple.   I really did have a tear in my eye during the wedding vows.   Frank and Jill told their friends and family that they were planning to marry, but decided they would prefer to do it quiety with little fuss.  They were off home to make some phone calls after the ceremony.  I really wish I could have heard the responses from their nearest and dearest when they heard the news…

They are now away for a few days and have a honeymoon planned for later in the year.   I really do wish them a long and happy life together.
